A somewhat unusual DJ edit of a unique artist from Russia. Most of Mujuice's music is abstract, instrumental, downtempo IDM. He has also released 3 albums of vocal dance-pop which are apparently very polarizing in the Russian-speaking world. For every comment on last.fm calling him the "electro-Tsoi" (a very complimentary comparison to legendary Soviet-era rocker Viktor Tsoi) there is another one saying something like "[Mujuice] obviously has always been pretentious shit piss for little girls." Even without understanding Russian, for me his music has always evoked the feeling of being a young, emotional raver.

This track, "Milyi Drug" ("Dear Friend") is one of my favorites from his debut album in the vocal style, 2011's "Downshifting." The Awesomer DJ edit adds an extended intro and outro for easier DJ mixing as well as aligning phrases to 16 and/or 32 bars.
